Additional Qualifications
Marie’s dedication to her work as a remedial massage therapist is fueled by a passion for helping others achieve a better quality of life and reach their health goals, and finds immense joy in witnessing continuous improvement in her clients, week after week.
Recognising the importance of caring for our bodies to prolong our enjoyment of physical activities, Marie felt compelled to help people, and thus, a career in remedial massage therapy was a natural choice.
Passionate about sports massage and sports therapy, Marie enjoys helping athletes, someone gearing up for a sports event, or an individual in the process of recovery from one. She particularly enjoys working with clients who have sports-related injuries or those looking to enhance their performance in their respective sports.
She also has a strong interest in understanding how fascia works to enhance an individual’s range of motion, a vital element in sports performance and recovery. Marie derives great satisfaction from employing myofascial cupping as a therapeutic tool to address various health conditions, providing holistic care and support to her clients, helping them achieve their optimal physical wellbeing.
“I genuinely care about helping people with different health issues. I believe in thorough health and posture assessments to get to the root of the problem and provide personalised treatments for long-lasting results.”
Marie is happiest when she’s actively moving her body in various ways, whether it’s running, hitting the gym, catching waves while surfing, or practicing yoga. She also finds solace and happiness in being close to nature.
