With a strong passion for holistic health and rehabilitation, Stephanie holds her physiotherapy qualification from Curtin University, combining her academic interests with a genuine enthusiasm for helping others achieve their best quality of life.
Her journey into healthcare stemmed from a deep-seated desire to assist people, driven by her involvement in sports, particularly netball and calisthenics. Her athletic experiences kindled a fascination with the human body and the crucial role rehabilitation plays in restoring its functionality.
Stephanie has a strong passion for treating sporting injuries, especially those related to netball and dance like any ankle, knee or back injuries. She boasts extensive firsthand experience with her participation in netball academy and development squads, along with competing for Western Australia in national calisthenics competitions. This hands-on engagement uniquely equips her to understand the specific needs and challenges of athletes.
Beyond injury treatment, Stephanie finds immense joy in leading Pilates classes. For her, Pilates represents not just a gentle and effective approach to rehabilitation, but an opportunity to step out of the traditional clinic setting and engage the body in motion. Witnessing the positive impact after only a few sessions brings her a great sense of fulfillment, valuing the relationships she builds with her clients to create a dynamic and enjoyable atmosphere during their sessions.
“The best thing about being a physiotherapist is being able to develop that bond and rapport with your patients. Being able to see your patient’s progress, feel confident and happy is very satisfying.”
Away from the treatment room, Stephanie enjoys leisurely walks along the coast and cherishing moments spent with friends and family.
