Originally from a small town in rural WA, Jade moved to Perth late 2022 to commence the cert IV Allied Health Assistant at North metro TAFE in beginning of 2023. Growing up playing sports, Jade had an interest in the rehabilitation process after an injury, and after commencing her studies she quickly realised a passion towards helping others and improving/ maintaining their independence through exercise and the difference it can make for someone’s quality of life!
During the course, she gained valuable experience working within the Geriatric rehabilitation ward and really enjoyed witnessing the patients progress in building strength and confidence over the weeks.
Outside of work Jade enjoy playing hockey, heading to the beach for a snorkel and swim, and travelling/camping somewhere along WA’s coastline with friends and family.
