Hi, I'm Natalie Nam!

Physiotherapist, Team Leader & Recruitment Officer at Mobile

Natalie moved to Perth from Singapore in 2016 to pursue her physiotherapy degree at Curtin University and has gained plenty of experience in inpatient cardiopulmonary settings, outpatient musculoskeletal and neurological clinical settings.

Since graduating, Natalie has also worked with our geriatric population in an aged care setting with a particular focus working with high care dementia residents. She has a special passion in neurological rehabilitation and her interests include post-stroke rehabilitation, functional neurological disorder, Parkinson’s Disease, post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic lower back pain.

“I enjoy the ability to see my patients over a period of time to notice change and progress. The process of observing movement, analysing them and the hands-on role I am able to provide thereafter is something I love. Although there can be many complex disorders, the problem-solving aspect is what excites me. I really like how I am able to interact with patients in this field, the personal aspect of it where I am able to be a part of their lives in a small way.”

Having grown up in Hiroshima, Tokyo, Jakarta, New York City and Singapore, Natalie enjoys travelling and learning about different cultures.

Away from work, she enjoys going for walks outdoors and has recently started road biking. Other than that, you will find Natalie on her many food adventures around Perth!
