Across the western region we have a number of clinic sites available for treatment and management of injured workers at the key locations of: Point Cook, Laverton North and Tullamarine. Our services include:
Early Intervention Physiotherapy (EIP) Programs
Designed as an emergency physiotherapy service, injured workers can be seen at one of our locations on the day their injury occurs. By receiving appropriate care in a timely fashion we can drastically reduce time off work and improve both recovery times and worker satisfaction.
This will usually be based around a 3-4 session program with the aim of a rapid turn around time from injury to recovery for injuries such as sprains, strains including back injuries, knees, elbows and shoulders.
In addition, we always aim to avoid the need for a claim by emphasising self-management and using evidence-based treatment.
We are also able to write certificates of capacity for your injured staff.
Videohealth / Telehealth (EIP)
The option of 7 day per week telehealth appointments is also available should an injured worker be unable to attend a clinic.
Workers’ Compensation Claims
We provide end-to-end care for workers’ compensation claims. This includes services from initial injury all the way to return to work. We specifically train our staff to provide regular communication amongst key stakeholders such as treating doctors, employers and insurance companies to ensure appropriate outcomes can be achieved in a timely fashion.
Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) and pre-employment testing
We regularly complete Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) across all of our sites. We can do these as a standardised version or create a bespoke plan for your business / job roles. Additionally, we are able to develop musculoskeletal physiotherapy follow up plans for any work hardening requirements.
