After completing a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology, Sarah went on to complete a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Swinburne University. During her studies Sarah has written a research thesis studying the effects of Neo-Adjuvant Anthracycline chemotherapy on women with breast cancer. In addition, Sarah has previously worked as a sessional anatomy tutor at Federation University whilst working clinically as an exercise physiologist in private and public health settings.
Sarah has returned to the Point Cook clinic in 2024 after spending two years working in Brisbane in a private health setting. This included being a physiotherapist for one of Australia’s most successful sporting schools across many sports such as NRL, basketball and volleyball. Sarah has worked with youth athletes from Queensland Netball and the junior league of an NRL club. Sarah has a keen interest in youth sporting injury assessment and treatment.
Sarah’s other main interest areas include vestibular and cervicogenic dizziness, pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, cancer symptom management throughout all stages of treatment, neurological rehabilitation, and physiotherapy for rare conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
Outside of work, Sarah loves to regularly exercise with her Border Collie and Husky, including running and hiking. After living in Sunny Queensland, Sarah Is looking forward to adventuring to the snow during Winter and exploring further around Victoria.
