Our Mums and Bubs classes are the perfect way for new mums to regain abdominal and pelvic floor strength and build body confidence, alongside your brand new bub.

Designed around Pilates and post-natal care principles, the classes are led by our dedicated physiotherapists, Ali and Ella, who hold additional Pilates and pelvic health training. They offer full-body workouts using body weight, mats, and minimal equipment—plus your little one as the perfect workout companion!

The classes are best for bubs who are not yet crawling.

Before commencing, you’ll be required to attend a 1:1 initial physiotherapy assessment to ensure the exercises are suited to your specific postnatal needs and fitness level.

Class size: Maximum of 10 people so exercises can be individualised to your needs

Price:
$30* per class (If a block of 8 classes is purchased)
$40* per class (Single class casual)
$134* Initial Pelvic Health Assessment (Allow 40 minutes. This appointment is typically completed at our Life Ready Inglewood practice 5 minutes from our studio).

*As the exercises are individualised based on your initial pelvic health assessment, physiotherapy private health rebates may apply, subject to your level of cover.

FAQs

When can I start? Typically from 6-8 weeks after bub comes along, but our initial assessment will ensure you are ready to go. You can always liaise with your GP or specialist ahead of time if you have any other concerns.

How old can bub be? This class is for bubs who are not yet crawling, to ensure mum can make the most of the 45-minute session!

How many classes can I do per week? We recommend two classes per week to ensure the best results, but once a week is great too. We know the new mum schedule can be super busy!

What if I can’t get to a class? That’s okay, just give us a heads-up with a day’s notice and you will not be charged.

I’m in a mothers’ group; can we do it together? Of course, though naturally, it will be subject to availability.

What to Bring: We have mats but you are welcome to bring your own. We recommend a shawl or light blanket and bub’s favourite toy while you do your thing (we have some too). Prams or capsules are welcome, we have a change table and nappy disposal on site. Don’t forget a water bottle!
