Ella is one of our physiotherapists with a keen interest in Sports Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Post-Operative Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, and Women’s Health. Ella has worked with a wide range of athletes in the West Australia Football League (WAFL) and West Australian Netball League (WANL) as a sports trainer and team physiotherapist.
As an athlete herself, Ella understands the physical and mental demands of sport on the body and the need for regular strengthening and rehabilitation to not only keep you performing at your best but also to prevent injuries that can keep you out of the activities you love.
Recently, Ella completed external studies in Women’s Health, enabling her to treat clients “Across the Lifespan” (including puberty, pregnancy, post-partum, perimenopause, and menopause). She can assist with problems related to bladder and bowel dysfunction and pelvic pain/dysfunction. She is also skilled in dry needling and Clinical Pilates.
Ella aims to further upskill in sports physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation in the near future.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll either find her running around Perth, on the netball court, or enjoying a coffee at a new coffee spot. Ella regularly competes in running events, focusing on distances between 5km and 21km, and also competes in the West Australian Netball League (WANL) for the Fremantle Sharks.
